Trace-element chemistry
ICP-OES analysis of impurities for source comparison, purification assessment and production-batch review.

Jingui Testing Center · In-house laboratory
We analyse quartz ore, quartz sand and silica powder for trace elements, particle-size distribution, sieve fractions and agreed supporting indicators. Results are supplied in a technical report with sample and test traceability.
What we test
Testing supports source screening, incoming inspection, treatment comparison, product grading and batch review. We agree the scope, sample preparation and reporting requirements before accepting samples.
ICP-OES analysis of impurities for source comparison, purification assessment and production-batch review.
Laser-diffraction results including the full distribution curve and characteristic D10, D50 and D90 values.
Retained and passing fractions at agreed mesh sizes or apertures, for classification and process control.
Fe₂O₃, whiteness, electrical conductivity and agreed ion tests provide supporting information alongside trace chemistry and particle-size data.
Side-by-side evaluation of ore, quartz sand or silica powder to support sourcing, process adjustment and batch review.

01 / Trace chemistry
Our 13-element ICP-OES analysis supports quartz and silica evaluation. Compare sources, measure changes after treatment and check batches against agreed limits.
02 / Particle & mesh control
Laser diffraction measures the overall particle-size distribution. Sieve analysis measures the retained and passing fractions at specified mesh sizes. Together they support production and purchasing decisions.

Laboratory configuration
The laboratory has equipment for elemental and particle analysis, weighing, sample preparation, appearance measurements and optical observation.
Analyses the specified 13 trace elements after agreed sample preparation.
Laser-diffraction particle analysis with a distribution curve and D10, D50 and D90 values.
Measures retained and passing fractions at the mesh sizes or apertures agreed for the test.
Analytical balances, a muffle furnace and PTFE vessels support weighing, heat treatment and sample preparation for the selected method.
Measures selected elements using an element-specific method; it complements ICP-OES within the agreed test scope.
Measure agreed ions and solution conductivity under defined preparation conditions; conductivity is not a direct test of solid-quartz insulation.
Compares optical appearance for colour-sensitive materials. Whiteness is evaluated alongside chemical results, not used as a purity assay.
Shows particle shape, visible inclusions and surface condition. Nanoscale features require suitable electron microscopy data.
Submission workflow
Tell us the material, application and what you need the results to establish.
Register sample identity, condition, quantity and customer reference before testing.
Split, dry, digest, disperse or sieve the sample using the agreed method.
Measure trace elements, particle size or sieve fractions using the selected instruments.
Check the result set, units, curves and any relevant sample or method limitations.
Provide a report with sample and test traceability, and explain the results in relation to your testing objective.
What you receive
Each result includes the sample identity, method and units. Particle size, whiteness and Fe measurements can support incoming inspection and processing-batch review.
Request a testing plan →Customer reference, material identity, receipt condition and preparation notes.
Test methods, units, measurement conditions and agreed reporting criteria.
Element values, distribution curve, D-values or retained and passing fractions.
Result interpretation, sample comparisons and analytical limitations.
We confirm sample quantity, preparation, test items, fees, turnaround time and reporting limits before acceptance. Unless specifically agreed and supported by the applicable qualifications, the deliverable is a technical test report, not statutory or accredited third-party certification.
